Tulane University School of Medicine and the Section of General Internal Medicine (GIM), Geriatrics, and Palliative Medicine are seeking full-time BC/BE Hospitalists to join our team.  Faculty will join a large academic hospitalist group with varied interests including quality improvement, medical education, and global health.  Opportunities for teaching, private, and nocturnist shifts available!

  • Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Medical or Osteopathic Degree required.
    2. Board certification/ board eligibility in Internal Medicine.
    3. Eligible for medical license in the state of Louisiana as well as CDS and DEA required.
    4. Prior experience in teaching residents and students preferred.
    5. Ability to work as part of a professional team and to collaborate effectively with individuals within the University as well as with outside contractors.
    6. Ability to employ process and quality improvement techniques
    7. Skill in the understanding of, and sensitivity to, persons of all social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
