A day in the life.

As our Account and Sales Administrator on the Employee Health and Benefits team, you'll:

  • Coordinate benefits communications, including prospect presentations, renewal presentations, open enrollment presentations, and strategic planning decks
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Lead preparation and coordination of benefits publications request, benefit information guides, and other launch, open enrollment, and ongoing client communications
  • Update client contacts in technology systems, and Benefit Point as needed
  • Maintain accurate client MMA team contact lists
  • Onboard new clients, including into Mineral, and other MMA benefits programs
  • Lead contact for compliance matters, including wrap documents, policy booklets, SPDs, 5500 filings, and other compliance tasks
  • Maintain document of record for carrier differences in treatment of compliance and transparency rules
  • Maintain and update client disclosure requirements
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including drafting team meeting agendas
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, conferences, and events, including arranging logistics, preparing materials, and taking minutes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial documents, such as contracts and invoices.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Assist with pipeline management
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information and support.
  • Maintain working knowledge of MMC benefits programs and potentials for upsells and cross sells
  • Maintain lists of cross sold accounts
  • Assist with follow-ups from prospect presentations and client strategy meetings
  • Assist in the coordination of sales events, trade shows, and conferences. Attend these events as needed and desired.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to track sales activities, prepare reports, and analyze sales data.

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field are a plus.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
