Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Accounting Manager/Controller to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive knowledge of accounting best practices, who is highly detail-oriented, and can manage a variety of accounting functions. The Accounting Manager/Controller will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide financial insights to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Oversight: Manage the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger; ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in NetSuite.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP, providing clear insights into the company's financial health.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee AP and AR functions, including payment processing, vendor management, and collections.

Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead the closing process, including reconciliations, adjustments, and analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to guide financial planning.

Internal Controls: Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Tax Compliance: Manage tax filings and compliance requirements, coordinating with external tax CPA firm.

Audit Support: Prepare and coordinate audits with external auditors, ensuring timely responses and documentation.

Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the accounting department.

Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA, CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5-10+ years of accounting experience.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP system preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and best practices in accounting.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
