Job Description:The Adjunct - Nursing Certificate position provides quality instruction and maintains a positive learning environment in the classroom, with major emphasis placed on teaching, supporting and evaluating students. The Adjunct role provides instruction and monitors teaching/learning effectiveness in the Nurse Aide Training Program as assigned by the Department Chair, or other leadership members. The incumbent must exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while engaging large groups of people with complicated material.

Minimum Qualifications
Currently licensed Registered nurse without restrictions
Minimum of two years (3200 hours) of nursing, at least one of which (1600 hours) must be in the provision of long-term care facility services (Home health, assisted living, acute care and outpatient services do not satisfy this requirement)
Current Ohio Train the Trainer (TTT) or eligible to take the Ohio TTT course and completing prior to hire start date. To be considered current, must have taken the TTT course, or taught or coordinated at least one Training and Competency Evaluation Program (TCEP) within the previous 24 consecutive months. If the applicant does not have a current TTT certificate, it must be obtained prior to date of hire.
State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).

Compensation Details:
Compensation: $55.88 per contact hour
Contact Hour: Two hours equals one contact hour
Hours: Maximum of 12 contact hours per week
