Contract Position: 6 months (with potential to extend
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Agency Shipping Specialist II plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company's Shipping functions at the direction of the Agency Shipping Supervisor or Sr Agency Shipping Specialist. The role is primarily responsible to assist the Agency Shipping Supervisor with the delivery of loans into the Cash & MBS Pool channels while adhering to our Client, Agency policies, procedures and guidelines in the delivery of Agency MBS Pools and Cash Commitments
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
o Monitor daily Marketing/Shipping reports to determine newly allocated Agency Cash loans, as directed.
o Act on daily direction from Agency Shipping Supervisor for MBS Pool and Agency Cash Commitment deliveries apart from those on the Allocation report.
o Perform the shipping preparation tasks needed for specific MBS Pool and Cash deliveries to Agency programs/investors as identified by the SVP & VP's of Secondary Marketing.
o Work closely with Shipping Department administrative staff and warehouse banks to assure timely delivery of Notes to FNMA, FHLMC and GNMA custodians. Monitor timely execution of respective Agency Release Forms by the warehouse bank(s) and forward to the Agency custodian to meet MBS Pool and Cash Commitment submission and certification deadlines.
o Process and submit loan data to FNMA & FHLMC Cash and MBS Securities; and GNMA for MBS issuance via Agency/Investor websites with Guild created data and imports.
o Assist in creating and maintaining knowledge of delivery edits and cures/corrections through utilization of Client tools, including but not limited to Blitz docs, AIQ, i5, Agency Guides, Underwriter, Processor, Funder and management communication, documenting solutions for team review and enhanced team knowledge base.
o Maintain appropriate hard copy files as needed pertaining to the electronic Agency deliveries including Master Agreements, various Authorizations, CUSIP numbers, IRS EIN's and "commitment" files for each Cash Commitment and MBS Pool.
o Monitor Agency Cash and MBS Pool Certifications and Settlements, notification to supervisor of any impending failures in any aspect.
o Perform timely Broker and Clearing Bank Notifications for MBS Pool Settlements (as assigned)
o Maintain current knowledge of all Agency shipping/delivery processes and edits.
o Complete, order or create specific documentation, corrections, and/or missing documents to meet Cash & MBS Pool delivery certification, notification & settlement/funding requirements.
o Maintain the i5 updated with status change covering issues delaying loan delivery, loan purchase and loan decline.
* Submit suggestions for changes in procedures, automation and forms to increase department efficiency and accuracy
* Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
o Organizational skills; ability to be responsive to various deadlines with Secondary Marketing, Agencies, broker/dealers, warehouse banks and the clearing bank.
o Ability to follow written & verbal instructions is critical. Must be able to be extremely focused and detail oriented.
o Ability to perform well in a very fast paced environment and under very high and strict deadline pressure.
