AI Implementation Engineer

*This position is requiring candidates local to Memphis, TN*


Our client is seeking an experienced AI/Data Engineer to help develop, deploy, and optimize AI models and data orchestration systems. In this role, you’ll collaborate with AI architects and engineers to ensure scalable, reliable, and ethical AI solutions that meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy AI models based on joint designs.
  • Operations: Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI systems, and design for ethical, unbiased output.
  • Support: Provide expert-level support, documentation, and guidance for AI process implementation.
  • Governance & Improvement: Monitor AI performance and user feedback, driving continuous improvement.
  • Data Preparation: Design and implement processes to improve data quality, prepare training sets, and synthesize data for AI usage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, AI Engineer, or in a similar role focused on production AI/data solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with prompt engineering, prompt flows, and AI patterns (e.g., Retrieval Augmented Generation, vector databases).
  • Hands-on experience deploying data products on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Strong understanding of development practices (source control, testing, DevOps/CI/CD).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in AI, data engineering, or cloud computing are a plus.
