The ideal candidate will manage paid and organic social media campaigns, as well as Paid Search. They need to demonstrate creativity, strategic thinking, ability to multi-task, and excellent organizational skills.
This role must possess a deep understanding of social media channels, is an adept social media writer, and has experience creating/directing visual assets for social media channels. The standard working hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CST, with occasional online weekend availability as needed.

Primary Functions:
• Oversee the LinkedIn channel for the product portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to create, approve, post and manage LinkedIn content, measuring outcomes against goals.
• Generate comprehensive reports on content performance metrics.
• Understand and train employees on Social Media policy and effective LinkedIn use.
• Manage paid search content, including keyword strategy, ad copy development, and quarterly reporting and analysis to assess program effectiveness.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Experience in working with LinkedIn, and using the following Microsoft tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and ideally Khoros (or other social media management platforms).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
May have practical knowledge of project management, and experience in leading a collaborative team.
Requires a University Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Candidates for this role are required to submit 2-3 writing samples showcasing their work.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine editorial plans on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Lead cross-functional team meetings for social media content and creative development.
• Write and edit copy for meetings, conferences, and one-off requests.
• Manage editorial content and calendars for LinkedIn.
• Handle approvals for social assets, optimize them, and secure timely approvals.
• Post, monitor, and manage social posts, updating performance dashboards.
• Utilize Khoros for engagement and reporting, tracking campaign progress and results.
• Analyze and report performance metrics to optimize strategies.
• Manage paid search campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy creation, and performance analysis.
• Conduct quarterly reporting on paid search effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Ideal Skillset:
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage resources and the execution of multiple projects on an ongoing basis, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of creative best practices and principles for social media, and monitor other social media channels for trends, insights, and conversations relevant to the brand and industry.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights, with a strong ability to read and translate data into action items for stakeholders and translate it to assist with developing content strategy and goals for the department.
• Experience with a scheduling platform, Khoros or other platforms.
• Ability to manage a cross functional team and agency to build the right voice for owned social posts.
• Utilize appropriate analytics and tracking services to monitor and optimize performance, including audience growth and engagement.
• Data-driven approach for insights with clear actions and follow-through

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field and at least 2-3 years of Digital Marketing and/or Communications experience
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with multi-disciplinary teams across multiple level
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience developing business-to business marketing communications
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with a creative mindset for innovative thinking.
• Understanding in managing a business page for LinkedIn channel, along with experience in working with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Khoros (or other social media management platforms)
• Experience working in a matrixed organization, leading cross functional team projects
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Nice to Have:
• Experience with social media advertising and campaign management is a plus.
• Experience with medical technology/medical device industry
• Collaborative approach in working with cross-functional teams
• Strong bias for action and attention to detail
• Organized and able to prioritize business demands in social media presence
