Avionic Technician

Eglin AFB, FL

Contract Position

This role is supporting the space systems division of one of our longest partners in our 28 years of staffing in Aerospace and Defense. This program builds satellites and spacecraft that do amazing things in space for government and commercial customers. You will be working with a team whose satellites give earlier warning of severe weather, connect troops on the battlefield, and deliver GPS directions to a billion people worldwide. Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of tasks in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical fields, focusing on equipment construction, troubleshooting, and calibration.
• Diagnose, test, and maintain avionic systems and components following schematics, engineering drawings, and written/verbal instructions.
• Conduct tests, compile reports, and perform calibration and alignment checks, making necessary adjustments as required.
• Operate relevant equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system integrity through detailed testing and diagnostics.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience working with F-16 systems.
• 4-6 years of experience in electrical diagnosis, repair, and testing.
