RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Centennial, CO.Summary:In this role, you will help configure a new Azure account, serve as the point of contact for Azure-related operations, and ensure secure and efficient cloud deployments. You will play a key role in deploying AI/ML models into the Azure cloud environment, processing massive volumes of customer interaction data, and supporting advanced analytics and transcription workflows.Responsibilities:- Azure Cloud Engineer will set up and configure a new Azure account, including virtual and cloud network configurations
- Deploy AI/ML models in the cloud environment, ensuring robust performance and scalability
- Manage Azure resources, such as Databricks, Event Hub, Azure Topic, Azure AI Studio, Azure Virtual Studio, and Power Platforms
- Collaborate with the team to process and analyze real-time transcriptions for over 300,000 daily customer calls
- Provide expertise in Python programming and SQL for data processing tasks
- As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will optimize cloud security and ensure compliance with network standards
- Support the integration of upcoming tools like Copilot into the existing Azure ecosystem
- Serve as a technical resource for DevOps best practices in AI/ML deployment
REQUIREMENTS:
- DevOps Skills: Proven experience deploying AI/ML models in cloud environments
- Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and resource management
- Programming: Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
- Data Management: Solid SQL skills for querying and data manipulation
- Experience with large-scale transcription workflows or similar data processing projects
- Knowledge of PySpark for processing high-volume data
- Familiarity with AWS as an alternative cloud platform
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
