Business Change Director
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Business Change Director is responsible for working with procurement leadership to identify and implement varied projects, programs, and plans that support the achievement of department and enterprise goals, with a particular focus on integrating AI technologies into procurement and related business processes.

• Leveraging AI tools and systems to drive efficiency and innovation in Procurement's business operations, with an emphasis on ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, optimizing functionality, and facilitating business change.
• May specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit and ensure activities are aligned with corporate strategy
• Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope data
• Leads efforts to identify best practices
• Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required
• Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs
• Design methods for integrating functions and processes
• Conducts cost/benefit analyses
• Builds support for business change throughout the business unit
• Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise-wide initiatives
• Leads the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit
• Provides expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities
• Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities
• Supports the execution of the operating plan
• Strategic AI Optimization: Identify opportunities for AI algorithms to drive Procurement systems optimization, identify supply chain cost-saving opportunities, and enhance predictive analytics to support business decisions.
• AI Integration & Management: Oversee the integration of AI capabilities into business workflows and Procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, DOMO, Fieldglass, iCertis, Process Unity) to achieve streamlined processes and optimal performance.
• AI Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage native AI capabilities within platforms like DOMO and iCertis to generate advanced analytics, real-time reporting, and actionable insights to enhance Procurement's support of enterprise goals and strategic initiatives.
• Process & Systems Design: Design and AI-enhanced processes and systems that support Procurement needs, facilitating the integration of various supply chain functions and efficient workflows.
• Project Leadership: Direct the prioritization and scheduling of AI-related projects, ensuring resource allocation and project timelines align with Procurement's objectives.
• Project Management: Lead the implementation and expansion of iCertis platform for Procurement. Act as a liaison between Elevance Health IT, Procurement Operations, and various Procurement teams.
• Change Management: Lead departmental change initiatives, ensuring Procurement's AI-driven projects align with enterprise-wide change management methodologies and best practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build support for AI-related business changes throughout Procurement, providing consulting support on process optimization, project management, and change methodology.
• Cost/Benefit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cost/benefit analyses for AI initiatives, ensuring investments align with Procurement's department goals and deliver measurable value.
• Coaching & Training: Provide coaching and training on AI tools and systems, ensuring team members and stakeholders are equipped to leverage AI technologies effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
• Knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred
• Master's degree preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Deep understanding of procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, iCertis, DOMO, Process Unity), technology stack/integrations, and application in business processes preferred.
• Strong skills in technology management, data analysis, and predictive reporting with a focus on Procurement / Global Supply Chain functions strongly preferred.
• Expertise in strategic and tactical planning models, project management, and change management methodologies preferred.
• Proven ability to lead technology-enabled change initiatives, build consensus, and drive business transformation within Procurement functions preferred.
• Proficiency in integrating and managing AI technologies and optimizing systems for improved efficiency is strongly preferred.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, fostering collaboration and support for AI-driven initiatives preferred.
• Experienced in conducting detailed cost/benefit analyses to evaluate and justify AI/technology investments preferred.
• Strong project management skills, adept at prioritizing and scheduling complex initiatives are preferred.
