This position will assist in the management of the Quality program and all Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) activities, ensuring all required parts, materials, and services are purchased timely, and cost effectively while maintaining continued operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure parts and materials are available so that production is not interrupted
- Responsible for conducting inventory cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate
- Ensure all purchasing procedures and guidelines are followed
- Review orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with existing policies and procedures
- Resolve all issues relating to defective material, order shortages, delivery, pricing or product quality with suppliers
- Place purchase orders for all inventory replenishment items
- Obtain quotes for inventory items and maintain current system item pricing
- Obtain quotes and place orders for all non-stock maintenance requests
- Issue-out and receive-in parts
- Assist on onsite audits, follow up on discrepancies and corrections, as well as any other investigations
- Ensure Pest Control service technician documents all inspection findings, completes required documentation, and archives documentation in the site's electronic system, as required
- Ensure pest sightings or signs of activity, reported by personnel, are documented on Pest Sighting Log, and ensure that the log is stored within a controlled location
- Complete client online training as assigned
- Prepare reports for management review of key statistics such as vendor performance based on findings
- Communicate with pest control service technician with any discrepancy in service or required training that may be due.
- Communicate with pest control service provider to provide necessary monthly reports and submit monthly reports to client.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management based on department needs

IMPORTANT EDUCATION
• High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
• Associates or Bachelors degree in facilities management, building, business or other related field preferred
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
• Experience with data entry, expansive reporting, filing, answering phones, scheduling and communications
• Previous customer service experience
• Prior experience working in the facilities/property management, commercial real estate or professional services industries preferred
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
• Working knowledge of computer software programs and base building systems
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers

The compensation for the position is: $24.00 - $26.00
