We are seeking a talented individual to join our Carrier Relations team at Mercer. This role will be based in Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston or Atlanta. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Carrier Relations Manager role is focused primarily on Supplemental Compensation and risk and relationship management. The team is dedicated to managing Supplemental Compensation programs and supporting overall business strategy while advancing Mercer's brand in the market.
We will count on you to:
- Negotiate, model, renew, budget, forecast, and account for close to 100 different Supplemental Compensation programs.
- Maintain and expand carrier-reported placement data to support the MarketInSight platform.
- Ensure compliance with all compensation requirements of MMC and Mercer related to compensation disclosure.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Finance to drive Supplemental Compensation efforts and address escalations.
What you need to have:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to develop an internal network of colleagues across business units.
- Extensive experience working with financial reports and data, data modeling, and financial review.
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting of Insurance.

- Prior client-facing brokerage or carrier experience preferred.
- Experience in reviewing, assimilating, and editing agreements to template requirements.
- An ideal candidate may have a post-graduate degree.
