Certification Clerk position available in South Gate, CA!

Volt is immediately hiring for Certification Clerk in South Gate, CA.

As a Certification Clerkyou will:

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Issue, review, and maintain production and supplier quality certifications as required.
• Review quality certifications against purchase order, drawing, and specification requirements for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist and/or prepare data packs for any products as necessary, with priority established by the Quality Manager, quality engineers, or heat treat supervisor. This may include working with buyers and program managers.
• Scan and file documents, including supplier certs, daily as necessary.
• Update Quality document logs (SCAR, NCR, CAR, SSR status, etc.).
• Assist in and/or document quality requirements.
• Assist in quality systems processes, including internal audits
• Cross-train with the facility administrator to provide back-up responsibilities as needed.
• Create best practices for racking procedures.
• Create standard work procedures for equipment.
• Data entry, not limited to internal heat treat department processes.
• Assist in department projects.
• Order department supplies.

This is a Full-time/Temp-to-hire opportunity.

1st Shift with OT

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to read and write English.
• Typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Typing and computer skills (Excel).
• Typically 1-2 years years of experience.

Pay Rate: $20.00- $29.75/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
