As an In-Home Installation and Health Technician, you'll be responsible for the delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting for basic, complex, and advanced consumer electronics products such as home theater, computing, smart home, health technology and networking. This role also requires technical expertise in health device installation and support including all appropriate HIPAA and health-related requirements. Outside of delivery and installation, you'll find the right solutions for customers' lifestyles and technology needs based on interactions within the home. This role requires partnership and indirect leadership with other Agents, service partners, retail employees, and supply chain employees. Internally, we refer to this role as a Consumer Electronic Double Agent.
What you'll doProvide a seamless customer experience by advising and fulfilling lifestyle recommendations regarding products, services and contentProvide a variety of fulfillment duties including delivery, installation, integration, networking, and troubleshooting consumer electronics devicesMaintain phone and in-person contact with customers to reveal diagnostic discoveries and make recommendationsProvide support to in-store agents, car electronic installation and repair agentsTake the lead on two-person jobs and perform other work aloneManage inventory and vehicle maintenance, process paperwork and payment, provide feedback and training opportunities, and follow safety guidelinesBasic qualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldCurrent, valid driver's licenseHave and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standardsAbility to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required to perform job effectively within 90 days of hireAbility to acquire any health-related certifications (e.g., HIPAA), as required to perform the job effectively within 90 days of hireAbility to lift weight up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, up to 150 pounds as part of a team with or without reasonable accommodation, and between 150-250 pounds as part of a team with support tools such as harnesses or lifts2 years of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience1 year of customer service experiencePreferred qualifications1 year of experience in installation, integration and troubleshooting of advanced or complex consumer electronics productsWhat's in it for you
