Aspire Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated Clinical Recovery Specialist to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team. Under the supervision of the ACCS Assistant Director, the specialist will provide clinical assessment, risk/safety planning, and treatment planning for adults with serious mental illness. The role is pivotal in leading the development of comprehensive, recovery-based services and coordinating a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate and enhance program services. Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership for an assigned group of clients, coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual treatment team, and assuming primary responsibility for the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of overall treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the team. The specialist will conduct comprehensive assessments of psychiatric history, safety planning for all risk issues, and provide on-call crisis intervention during nighttime hours, serving as a backup to evening and weekend staff. Documentation of client progress is essential to maintain a permanent record of client activity according to established methods and procedures. The role also involves participation in substance use treatment services, communication with guardians, family members, doctors, hospitals, therapists, Human Rights Coordinator, and DMH to coordinate schedules, supports, and services. The specialist will lead in all client intake and assessment processes and explore social and support opportunities for individuals to participate in the community. Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully at coordinating care across a continuum of care
  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to function as a team member in assessing the needs of individuals
  • Ability to contribute in the development of policies and procedures
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in seeking pathways that will provide support to the program
  • Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred

Required Experience
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • License Required (specific type of license may be specified by the employer)
  • At least 2 years' experience working with individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI)
  • Familiarity with principles of psychiatric recovery required
