We are hiring a construction Estimator a leading construction firm specializing in commercial projects, with a strong focus on K-12 educational facilities. This contractor is committed to delivering high-quality construction services and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Construction Estimator Details:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating commercial construction projects, particularly K-12 educational facilities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, with an emphasis on K-12 educational facilities.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Monitor and update project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.
• Maintain and update estimating databases and tools.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in commercial construction is required.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
