Summary of Role:

The Principal Analyst Credit Management and Collections role is a key member of the Accounts Receivable team. This role will manage the end-to-end credit management and collection process for a portfolio of accounts with an opportunity to drive improvements within the order-to-cash process.

The ideal candidate should have strong people and customer service skills, a track record of process improvement and the ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct credit assessments and reviews for new and existing customers to determine creditworthiness.
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to identify potential risks, manage the credit hold process and make recommendations for credit limits within assigned portfolio of accounts.
  • Monitor receivable balances and aging on a daily basis for assigned accounts and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances to ensure timely collection.
  • Identify reasons for non-payment or disputed items and work with Customer, Sales, Customer Service and AR Manager on plan to resolve.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain Planning and Business Finance teams to ensure a smooth and efficient order-to-cash process and improve the customer experience.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of credit and collection activities to support reporting requirements to Senior Management.
  • Create and maintain SOPs for job duties, identify process improvement opportunities, and assist in creation of documents to be used for cross-functional process alignment.
  • Adherence to all AR Policies and Controls.

Experience with the following Technology Tools:
  • Oracle
  • SAP S/4 Hana
  • PowerBI

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field of study.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit management and/or collections for a global company
  • Team player who is able to work with global and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels across the organization and with external customers.
  • Ability to build relationships across functions.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: Constantly looking for innovative ways to build and improve processes and services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
  • Strong skills in Excel and working with large amounts of data.

Expected Salary Range
$66,800.00 - $120,700.00
