What You Will Contribute:


Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and adept at handling complex requests? At Badger Meter, we're looking for a talented and dedicated Customer Service Rep II to join our Customer Care department. In this role, you will not only manage intricate customer inquiries but also serve as a valuable resource for our Customer Service Rep I team. By using Salesforce and Oracle and developing a deep understanding of our products and processes, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring a seamless customer experience. Badger Meter is hiring a Customer Service Representative II for a hybrid (3 days a week onsite) at our Racine facility.

The Customer Service Rep II is the second of two levels in the Customer Care department. You will be responsible for working with complicated customer requests and assist Customer Service Rep I with questions. You will be very familiar with Salesforce and the Customer Care process and be able to manage through complicated situations in a professional and timely manner. You will review and process requests with the understanding of how it impacts the department, company and customer.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in sizing and application requests received through Salesforce. Able to troubleshoot using various tools to assist on these requests.
  • Responsible for understanding the technical aspects of our product lines and assist Customer Service Representatives with basic technical questions.
  • Ability to assist and identify when customer requests are not compatible with what they are looking to purchase and provide productive and respectful feedback to the customer.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough case management in Salesforce.
  • Enter all quote and orders cases from Salesforce into Oracle.
  • Maintain accurate account records within Salesforce verifying all accounts have accurate discounts, account notes, billing information and account owners.
  • Proactively work with operations, engineering, and technical support teams to ensure accurate account management and information in Salesforce in a positive manner.

Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience preferred

Qualifications:
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Intermediate proficiency in Salesforce required
  • Intermediate proficiency in Oracle required

Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Work is performed in close proximity to others.
