Data Analyst

Our client is seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring that economists, policy advisors, and research assistants have the necessary information resources and economic data for their work.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for: - Managing data licenses and other subscription licenses, including understanding terms and conditions
- Acquiring and renewing licenses
- Working with procurement to manage contract workspaces, purchase orders, and other tasks
- Collaborating with the National Procurement Office to create and approve commitment letters
- Communicating with users across various departments to determine information needs

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - An ALA-accredited MLIS or MSIS degree (new and recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- At least one year of employment experience in a library environment
- Knowledge of electronic resource licensing
- Ability to cooperate in a team environment and maintain effective and respectful working relationships
- Proficiency in computer software applications and a broad knowledge of computer databases
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
