The Data Modeler/Architectt will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that support our Power BI dashboards and reporting needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and visualize SAP data, leveraging Python and Microsoft Fabric to create insightful and actionable reports.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling:
- Design and develop robust data models in Power BI that facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Optimize data structures and relationships to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.

Dashboard Development:
- Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports in Power BI, providing insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and aligned with business requirements.

Data Integration:
- Extract data from SAP systems and other sources, transforming it as needed for analysis.
- Implement data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric to streamline data flow and processing.

Python Development:
- Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis tasks.
- Develop scripts to automate data extraction and transformation processes.

Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with business units to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
- Provide support and training to users on Power BI best practices and dashboard usage.

Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor performance and usage of Power BI reports and dashboards, making improvements as necessary.
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and reporting using Power BI.
- Strong understanding of SAP data structures and extraction processes.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its capabilities for data integration and management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
