RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in North Richland Hills, TX.Summary:The Desktop Support Technician's role is to support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. That includes imaging, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via incident tickets) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT-related field such as Computer Science, Technical Support, and Information Technology
- 1-3 years of experience
- Minimum of two years of experience supporting end user desktop, laptop, operating systems or has served in a similar role in another IT-related position
- Proficiency in programs such as ServiceNow, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Able to work in a team as well as independently
- Ability to configure (image) laptops and desktops (SCCM imaging using thumb drives)
- Time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Experienced in providing professional and courteous customer service
- A+ certification for computer technology
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
