JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Director, Lending Financial Management

Description:
The Director of Lending Financial Management is responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting of the loan originations business of Onity. The role provides guidance and financial expertise to the business in connection with new transactions and ongoing operations and collaborates with business partners to develop and maintain the company's financial policies. This position offers excellent exposure to a diverse and talented team of professionals who support a broad array of the company's businesses and products.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead business-wide financial planning and reporting activities
  • Communicate and present financial performance with business and executive leaders.
  • Create and enhance standard finance reporting packages and metrics for the Originations business and different channels (i.e. forward and reverse, B2B and B2C)
  • Maintain and enhance financial models and analytics to support business strategy, including operational capacity models and costs
  • Partner with other leaders to build analytics & strategies, including Capital Markets and Corporate Development
  • Partner with CFO and Finance team on enhancing approach to shareholder relations, including analytics and back-up, R/Y/G matrix, valuation, etc.
  • Lead finance data warehouse launch and support broad financial systems redesign and enhancements
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA strongly preferred
  • 8-10 years of financial planning and analysis experience in financial services industry, preferably with mortgage experience
  • Ability to analyze economic basis of deals and legal implications for financial and reporting requirements, with basic financial modeling experience
  • A successful track record of developing strong relationships across a broad range of leadership functions allowing the person to effectively influence and effect change
  • Must have very strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely translate complex accounting terms into plain English
  • Must have a demonstrated and proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced deadline-driven and constantly changing environment
The salary range for this position is expected to be $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
