Our vision for Director, National Accounts at BD:

To negotiate, implement, and manage, our IDN and Regional GPO relationships. Responsible for all aspects of the RFP process, and ensuring each contract is geared toward driving revenue, and profitability growth. Work closely with each sales team (Vascular, Peripheral, Oncology) to identify targets, opportunities, and building relationships with key decision makers within each IDN. Cross function interactions with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Commercial Ops, and Customer Service to drive revenue goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Negotiate and implement BDPI's national agreements in conjunction with the BD Strategic Customer Group
  • Working with BDPI's analytics team, develop sound, revenue generating strategies that align with BDPI's price & profitability goals.
  • Develop BDPI's relationships with key national and Regional GPO's, large hospital systems and strategic accounts.
  • Consistent communication with sales team, and BD's SCVP team on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.
  • Interact with SCVP to identify opportunities to grow BDPI business within assigned IDNs.
  • Maintain internal relationships with Product Managers, Customer Service, Sales Organization, and Marketing.
  • Ensure contract compliance across all assigned IDN contracts to drive customer committed & revenue.
  • Assist sales managers and representatives in the preparation, negotiation, and execution of regional and local contracts.
  • Conduct quarterly business & new technology reviews with IDNs, Regional GPO, and sales teams.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum three (3) years of successful sales management experience.
  • 4-year college degree Strong Analytical Skills & Strategic Thinking
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, QlikView, Salesforce.com
  • Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent Selling, Presentation, and Relationship building skills
