You have completed a BS in Nuclear Engineering or a related degree (e.g. physics with nuclear concentration). You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, have worked in an engineering role for at least 0-2 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

- You have experience with nuclear industry systems, subchannel codes (e.g. VIPRE or COBRA), or other software-development/method codes.

Your OpportunityThis full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Early Career Core Thermal Hydraulics Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the PWR Core Design & Safety Analysis business line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:
- Preparing and applying nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulic principles and models for plant safety analyses.
- You will be involved in the preparation of engineering documentation, supporting regular customer interactions, and work with related engineering disciplines to resolve complex technical issues to produce high quality solutions.
- The department also supports analyses of advanced reactor designs and small modular reactor concepts.
This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards PackageThe range of base salary for the position is between $63,000 - $82,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
