Basic Job Functions:
The position will be responsible for but not limited to specifying, installing, repairing, and maintaining Overhead Cranes, as well as medium voltage power systems, AC and DC drive systems, PLCs and HMIs. This position will manage large CEA projects from start to completion while working with area Supervisors, Vendors, and/or Contractors. This position will be expected to lead other NYS teammates, contractors, and vendors in down day projects and maintenance activities related to OHCs. The person selected for this position will be expected to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and cover shift when needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
Certified Electrician
3 years Industrial Overhead Crane Maintenance experience
Experience working with PLCs & HMIs

Preferences:
Mechanical knowledge, experience, and aptitude
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, OSHA 1910.179, ASME B30 and CMAA standards
Proficient PC skills in CMMS, Oracle, & Microsoft office products
