Volt is immediately hiring for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Tech in Orlando, Florida for an industry leader in aerospace and defense industry.
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician you will be well-versed to not only contribute to the assembly of the products at both sub assembly levels as well as systems level but to also contribute by identifying issues and working with Engineering to implement solutions.

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician you will:
- Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies which include cables, PCB's, electrical enclosures, computer racks and custom rack-like systems which require routing cables and point to point wiring
- Cable assembly requiring crimping and soldering
- PCB assembly to include through hole and SMT components.
- Ability to read drawings, wiring lists schematics and bills of materials.
- Ability to use small hand tools for modifying both plastic and metal parts
- Competent in using metal fabricating equipment such as a drill press, brake, cutoff saw, etc.
- Competent in redlining electrical and mechanical drawings and following up with appropriate person to implement change requests
The ideal candidate will have: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or senior level, self-starter with over or minimum of ten (10) years' experience in a manufacturing environment

- IPC-A-610
- IPC/WHMA-A-620
- J-STD-001
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.
Pay Rate: $25.00-$32.00 *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
