This is a 6 month contract to hire* postion!

Daily Responsibilities for the EMR Applications Manager:

  • Manage teams responsible for the development, implementation, and 24/7 support of approved applications across various functions (e.g., patient care, HR, finance, supply chain).
  • Oversee change management activities and ensure the smooth operation of the applications portfolio.
  • Lead project management efforts, including creating IT project plans, resource coordination, and budget management.
  • Manage vendor lifecycle, including RFP creation and contract oversight.
  • Supervise a team of Application Coordinators, Analysts, System Administrators, Developers, and other assigned staff.

Must-Have Skills and Experience for the EMR Applications Manager:

  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience including direct HR responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in applications and computer-based support for areas like patient care, business operations, web applications, and reporting. Expertise in the relevant applications to be supported.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Revenue cycle in a healthcare setting, supporting these processes from an IT perspective.
