Enterprise Systems Engineer (University Grad) Responsibilities:

  • Combine open-source, in house, and commercial technologies to build services that will have an impact on the business
  • Work in a heterogeneous environment containing diverse operating systems and applications, and make them work well together
  • Apply modern engineering methodologies such as infrastructure as code, Linux container orchestration, and software-defined storage to scale Meta's rapidly growing Enterprise infrastructure
  • Find ways to leverage the scale and complexity of the larger Meta infrastructure to solve problems for Enterprise customers
  • Be an escalation point for issues related to the team's products
  • Produce systems that are scalable, automated, and well-documented, and train others to help with operations
  • Work closely with Product Managers to ensure the team is building what customers really need and broadcasting out to the organization


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
  • Experience full stack development
  • Experience coding in at least one of the following languages: Hack (or PHP), React, Python, or Go
  • Experience working with monitoring and configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building services
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta

$107,000/year to $126,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
