Hays Heavy Civil Construction has partnered with a well-known General Contractor that has nearly 50 years of industry experience. They are a leading provider of heavy civil construction services in the New York Tri-State area. The company specializes in Site work, Road work, Utility work, Waste and Stormwater work, Green Infrastructure, and more. This GC is seeking a Field Engineer to join their team.

Your New Role

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Assisting Safety Managers throughout each phase of field operations.
• Assisting Field Superintendents and field foremans/ labor crews to ensure productivity and proper use of equipment and materials.
• Tracking and reporting quantities of work performed in the field.
• Overseeing and managing subcontractors.

What You Need to Succeed

In order to excel in this role, you will require:

• 2+ years of construction estimating experience, field support experience, engineering experience, or comparable experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Benefits

A competitive salary range of $80,000- $110,000 based on years of experience. Health insurance and 410k included.
