With a primary focus on steam trap management to help our customers on the road to decarbonization, Armstrong International is hiring a full-time Service Technician to support the ongoing development of the Thermal Insight Group. The successful candidate will work closely with the current team and be mainly responsible for supporting steam trap surveys domestically.

Key Responsibilities
•Coordinate and perform steam trap and radio frequency surveys.
•Provide reports of findings following these surveys.
•Perform commissioning and training of steam quality monitoring equipment.
•Wireless monitoring systems commissioning, training, and troubleshooting.
•Support lab activities with testing and validation of equipment.
•Other responsibilities as assigned.

•Travel domestically up to 100% of the time that could include travel on weekends.

Key Requirements
•Knowledge of the steam system is a plus.
•A positive attitude and proactive engagement.
•Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
•A sense of urgency and ability to connect the dots.
•Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to provide customer service.
•Book most of the travels by yourself and manage expenses wisely to stay on budget.
•Microsoft Office basic knowledge including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
•Multilingual is a plus.
• 2-3 years of technical education or equivalent work experience in the mechanical or
electrical field
