Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Operator 4 to support the Supply Chain team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met.
This role works in a team environment to produce, warehouse, and ship quality finished cases and work in process (WIP) components.

Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Operators perform multi-functions, multi-tasks of various levels and breadth of technology
• Troubleshoot, discover problem areas quickly; make minor adjustments to the equipment to maintain efficiency and quality
• Need to be able to operate all packaging equipment including case packers, fillers, bottle rinsers, and various other processing and packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner located within the department
• Ensure finished products and component materials meet quality specifications
• Maintain an acceptable standard of output and quality
• Log equipment downtime and system line changeover using Zarpac
• Perform quality checks and complete necessary paperwork
• Observe and report any major equipment or quality issues to shift supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months minimum machine operator experience
• Must obtain and maintain a forklift license
• Must be able to work at least 12 hours a day and up to 7days a week when necessary
• Must be able to work productively without direct supervision and be willing to flow-to-work to assist the team as needed
• Must comply with all department rules. (Safety, GMPs, Sanitation and Housekeeping)
• Must be able to utilize software, including but not limited to AMAPS, Zarpac, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Teamwork

• Ensure reliable and safe operation of equipment through troubleshooting and working with maintenance to identify issues
• Be a role model and lead the department in TPM objectives and priorities including AM, PM, FI and OCCI as determined by the department and NWT teams

Safety:

• Must adhere to PPE requirements set forth by the department
• Ensure all safety rules, procedures, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed

Pay for this position is $21.85/hr
