RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's large e-commerce client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their team on a short-term contract basis in Brooklyn, NY.Summary:As a Product Engineer, you will be contributing to multiple projects and diving deep into the code that powers the Cart. A normal day to day for our Engineers is a daily standup, some engineering specific meetings, with a majority of the focus being on ticket work. Engineers are responsible for timely code reviews & providing insightful feedback to peers.REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid engineering & coding skills and proficiency in at least one programming language of Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with writing scalable and performant data pipelines on distributed systems
- Familiar with machine learning techniques and applications
- Experience in machine learning techniques, pipelines and applications
- Experience with writing robust, idiomatic and easy-to-understand backend code (Python, Java, Scala)
- Experience writing scalable and performant data pipelines on distributed systems (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) - preference in candidates with experience in Airflow
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
