JOB SUMMARY:




Assembly Operator I position is responsible for the assembly of all cabinet components and putting it together with a staple gun in order to build a cabinet. This position will report directly to the Assembly Manager.


II.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:




· Main job function will be the assembling of cabinets, utilizing equipment such as glue gun, nail gun and clamp machines.

· Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually.

· Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.

· Responsible for removing components from conveyor to assembly table/area in order to install the components together to build a cabinet.

· Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.

· Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.

· Help production workers by supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.

· Will perform other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:




Education:



High School Diploma or equivalent required




Experience:

6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience








Skills:

Ability to lift to 40 lbs.

Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.

Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.

Ability to properly assess and prioritize tasks.




V.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:




Typical Working Conditions: (Describe environment including exposure to heat, cold, fumes, chemicals, allergens, mold, etc.)

Manufacturing warehouse environment with occasional temperature changes and humidity.

Constant noise in atmospheric conditions with frequent vibrations

Working around equipment and machinery




Equipment Used:

(List all manual and automated equipment used in the course of performing essential functions.)

Staple Gun, Glue Gun and Clamp Machine.


Essential Physical Tasks:
