General Manager - $15 Million Company - Industrial Manufacturing

We are currently seeking a General Manager to oversee our facility located in the Willow Grove, PA area. A successful General Manager will provide strong leadership between departments, world class safety, strategic direction, and discipline of execution to facilitate fast-paced business growth in support of customer and stakeholder objectives.

Compensation: $130k - $150k Base Salary + 15-30% Bonus, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, PTO, etc.

Overview:

Work closely with the Owner and CEO on strategic direction and day to day operations execution.

Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.

Work with sales/business development to conduct market analysis and identify new opportunities for business expansion.

Financial acumen and ability to oversee a P/L statement, create budgets for each department, and provide financial direction and month end oversight.

Identify insourcing opportunities throughout the organization.

Work with operations to identify new and improved manufacturing capabilities.

Formulate action plans to maintain a competitive edge in the industry

Participates in the development of capital expenditure requests.

Technical Expertise and process knowledge

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices.

Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product quality and innovation.

Operations Management

Overall responsibility for optimization of the facility layout.

Oversee all daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization.

Optimize production processes to enhance productivity and minimize downtime.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions.

Participates in the development of capital expenditure requests.

Guides operations towards continuous improvement (safe working environment, lean quality-reduction of scrap and customer issues, on-time deliveries, etc.)

Dispenses advice, guidance, direction and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies and approvals.

Financial Performance

Develop budgets and financial forecasts in alignment with organizational goals.

Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability without compromising quality.

Review financial reports and take corrective actions when necessary.

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and develop a skilled team of professionals in various departments.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Customer Focus

Maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.

Identify customer needs and ensure the company delivers high-quality products and services.

Compliance and Safety

Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Promote a culture of safety and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Other duties as assigned by the Owner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Engineering, STEM, Manufacturing, etc.

• Strong track record of leadership in a General Manager or Plant Manager role driving growth and profitability.

• 10+ years of experience in an industrial or distribution company.

• Background in a manufacturing or industrial company with a strong track record of driving profitable growth.

• Culture Leader. Soft Skills.

• Possesses both technical credibility and a high level of leadership presence, with the ability to quickly gain the confidence and respect of the employees.

• Strong team player and takes a "hands-on" approach to running the business and

• interfacing with customers.

• Exceptional strategic and conceptual thinking, strong analytical skills and the ability to

• synthesize complex data.

• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and a sense of urgency.

• Leads by example and motivates individuals, at all levels, to strive for success and

• excellence.

• Mechanically inclined.

• Experience and successful track record in operations, business development, and sales.

• Strong managerial, communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills.

• Business leader who has led a business of similar (or larger) size and complexity.

• Sound understanding of accounting and financial statements.
