JOB SUMMARY:
An Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring inventory control and accuracy through the maintenance of cycle count documents and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Perform routine cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and conducting research
* Utilize MRP, Scanning, and Microsoft applications to analyze counts and re-counts, adjusting inventory levels and conducting root cause analyses
* Interpret and maintain database inventory and cycle count schedules
* Accurately verify and record physical inventory listed on the Cycle Count schedule
* Resolve inventory count issues in a timely manner by communicating with leadership
* Analyze and interpret packing lists and pallet tickets
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
* Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Abilities:
* Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications; including Excel
* Ability to identify wood species, finishes, color variances, door and drawer front styles, frame styles, and all cabinet components
* Knowledge of AWC material flow, systems, and inventory locations
* Ability to be self-motivated, think independently, and identify and document problems
Required Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or G.E.D.
* Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
Required Physical Ability:
* Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods time
* Ability to climb and perform various duties from a ladder at various heights
* Specific vision abilities including close and peripheral vision, and the ability to focus
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
