Inventory/Procurement analyst

We are assisting a global logistics company located in Fountain Valley with a search for a Procurement Analyst. The position will be an onsite role and will pay $38/hr DOE.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage all new supplier documentation for Procurement department. Process and administer NDA's, redline Supplier Purchase Agreements and other related onboarding paperwork.
• Create summary by Supplier/Source/Commodity reports.
• Maintain Supplier Master documents.
• Create raw materials database to define market trend pricing and supplier unit costs for common materials and run on quarterly basis.
• Maintain cost savings data spreadsheets and run monthly.

Required Skills:

• Business professionalism with understanding of confidentiality guidelines.
• Able to communicate intentions and ideas both written and verbal.
• Ability to implement and monitor multiple projects and reports.
• Problem solving and decision-making

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or Data Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working with databases, data manipulation, and report generation using tools like Access and Excel.
• 2-4 years of procurement experience.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling data.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data analysis tools, and macros are required.
