We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an IT Business Systems & Audit Transformation Manager to join our National Assurance team in Baltimore, MD.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our National Assurance Team, which in turn supports the firm's broader assurance practice. The National Assurance Team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization. This team ensures that all processes, systems, and operations adhere to national and international standards and regulations.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Act as a liaison between business/end users and IT systems development teams, as well as assists in the review and transformation of business models while improving audit processes and integrating technology to enhance the overall audit operating model
  • Identify and analyze business needs, conducting requirements gathering, defining scope and objectives, and making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes through new or existing technology
  • Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives
  • Research business requirements and document relationships between application system components (end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
  • Translate business requirements into application requirements
  • Assist clients with reviewing and transforming their business model by identifying deficiencies, improving processes, and integrating technology
  • Possess deep IT systems expertise and experience in audit processes and management consulting for redesigning and creating new business processes
  • Implement policy and strategy for short-term results
  • Manage experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
  • Influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures
  • Address problems that are difficult to moderately complex
        YOUR EXPERIENCE.

        The successful candidate will have:
        • 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
        • Bachelor's Degree and active CPA required
        • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
        • Experience in IT business systems analysis and audit transformation
        • Knowledge of Six Sigma principles
        • Ability to influence and implement policy and strategy

        In Maryland, the salary range for IT Business Systems & Audit Transformation Managers is $120,000.00 to $180,000.00. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate's geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
