Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in microbiology and the ability to accurately perform testing procedures. The ideal candidate will possess basic computer skills for data entry, organizational skills to manage inventory, and the ability to meet deadlines. Basic math and manual dexterity are essential for accurate analysis and sample handling.

Key Qualifications:

• Interest in learning microbiology and performing tests to obtain accurate results.
• Basic computer and math skills, with the ability to enter data and analyze results accurately.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain supplies and ensure timely analysis.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, food industry, food service, or laboratory work is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, multitasking ability, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional attitude and commitment to ethical conduct.
• Fluency in written and spoken English required.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional exposure to lab chemicals, fumes, and materials, with appropriate safety equipment (gloves, lab coat, safety glasses) as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and 10-15 lbs regularly.
