Lead Business Analyst - onsite

Our client in the Cleveland, Ohio area is looking for a hands-on Business Analyst Lead that has some management experience. This is a direct hire position.

This will be an onsite position and then down the road may become hybrid (3 days on site).

Our client is not able to provide sponsorship.

In this position, you will:

• Provide leadership in requirements gathering and testing phases of SDLC/projects.
• Work with business leaders and internal IT to ensure coordination and completion of work efforts.
• Consult with business partners to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, workflows, problems, input and output requirements, usage, formatting and security requirements.
• Analyze business processes and user requirements to document project scope.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
• Identify program, application and system problems and resolutions.
• Create or assist others in the writing of user documentation, instructions and procedures.
• Prepare deployment plans and manages release schedules.
• Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.
• Plan, assign and review work of other analysts.
• Develop and improve existing project execution processes to align to DevOps, Agile and waterfall efforts.
• Coach and mentors' business systems analyst team.
• Solve complex business problems.

This role will be managing a team of 6 people.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or business administration.
• 10 years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Visio and SQL
• Data Analysis and Project Management skills
• Ability to lead other business analysts and develop team members in best practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to interface with cross-functional partners and senior management
• Ability to effectively and consistently execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Must have ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
• Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
