The Role:

The Manager, Corporation Communications will collaborate closely with various high-level executives, including the CEO, President, Chief of Staff, CHRO, CDO, Director of Corporate Communications, HR VPs, and other regional and global leaders. The primary responsibilities include developing, executing, and managing internal communication programs to enhance understanding and alignment with the firm's business strategy, ensuring consistent communication from leaders, boosting employee engagement and recognition, promoting inclusivity, and supporting the overall employee value proposition. The Manager will also coordinate with the Global Marketing team to align messaging and timing for both internal and external communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop internal communications to support the firm's strategic goals, ensuring consistent messaging across multiple speakers and geographies.
  • Produce a variety of internal and executive communications materials, including presentations, announcements, newsletters, intranet, blog posts, and other content to be delivered across multiple channels.
  • Draft and review regional and global communications on various topics, including business updates, learning and development, philanthropic initiatives, and annual promotions.
  • Support and implement employee communication programs through various channels (e.g., town hall meetings, in-person meetings, etc.) to enhance engagement, alignment, retention, and employer-of-choice positioning.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for internal communication events including developing run of show, talking points, Zoom/video-conference set-up, written recaps, etc.
  • Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team to understand and develop key HR communication themes and messages, actively participating in discussions and initiating drafts of messages.
  • Lead the development and delivery of regular updates from business leaders, working closely with key leads to create content and maintain communication with business solution leaders.
  • Coordinate with regional leaders and teams, partnering with regional marketing directors, to align global themes and oversee quarterly employee newsletters in different regions.
  • Oversee the firm's internal intranet site (homepage), draft stories for global programs and events, and ensure alignment with corporate messaging through collaboration with the global marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team on global/regional messaging, managing key DE&I communications, firm cultural recognition calendar, etc.
  • Work with Employee Resource Groups on internal communications and events.
  • Support the Director of Corporate Communications and step in to lead strategic internal communications initiatives with the CEO, President, and Chief of Staff when necessary.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of five years of corporate communications experience in a global organization.
  • Excellent writing skills for conveying complex themes in clear and compelling language, including crafting internal emails, intranet articles, town hall meetings, speeches, and presentations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to crafting engaging, accurate, and concise writing, including editing own work and that of others.
  • Proven experience developing relationships and working with senior management, managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to multitask and prioritize assignments to meet timelines.
  • Experience in developing and delivering creative communications using digital platforms and channels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Persuasive communicator who can build trust and establish strong professional relationships globally.
  • International outlook with an understanding of diverse cultures and nationalities.
  • Fundamental understanding of graphic design to create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and slideshows.
  • Basic understanding of video production for internal use, leveraging platforms like Brightcove, Zoom, etc.
  • Proven experience implementing and measuring the impact of communications initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented with an inquiring mind and analytical approach.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in professional services or a similar complex, matrixed B2B environment.
  • Media and Social Media savvy, with both traditional and digital media experience being a plus.
