Department Summary

The Department of Counseling and Higher Education is one of four departments in the University of North Texas College of Education. The department houses two academic programs: Counselor Education and Higher Education. We promote human development through education, research, and service that advance the professions of, and scholarship in, counseling and higher education. We seek local, state, regional, national, and international prominence as a collaborative and trans formative community engaged in exemplary research, education, and service that benefit the professions of counseling and higher education, the public's they serve, and humanity at large.

Position Overview

The Counseling and Higher Education Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Master Internship Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Supervising Counseling Internship, Master's Level students. The University of North Texas System and its component institutions are committed to equal opportunity and comply with all applicable federal and state laws.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters in Counseling

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to effectively supervise counselor trainees and provide feedback.
• Knowlege about counseling practices, child development and mental health.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral in Counseling.
