Job title: Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes (aT1D) Medical Strategy and Project Management Lead

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver cross-functional, end to end complex medical innovation initiatives contributing to Medical Affairs impact overall aT1D Brand strategy.
- Ensure effective planning, budget management, execution, communication and follow up, for prioritized strategic projects including communication of KPIs ( i.e. monitoring and reporting effectiveness and impact via aligned impact dashboards etc. )
- Manage aT1D medical initiatives across categories and project types.
- Define and execute the medical project strategy in alignment with functional partners.
- Deliver critical aspects of each project on time: scope, schedules, risks mitigation, budget & resources; Provides Project Reporting and KPIs as required.
- Collaborates with cross-functional business partners to create and maintain project plans and risk-adjusted timelines.
- Builds, monitors and analyzes project risks and identifies mitigation strategies
- Structures team discussions and drive timely decision making within the team.
- Manages project communications to all cross-functional project team members and partners, which may include: project websites, meeting minutes, status reports, presentations, and any other detailed project information needed.
About you Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in project management and innovation.
- Agile Scrum experience preferred
- Substantial multidisciplinary and/or cross-functional project leadership experience advantageous
- Proven experience in applying digital tools; Ability to drive innovative solutions to deliver impact.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience including at least 4 years in Medical Affairs or in close collaboration with the Medical function
- Substantial multidisciplinary and/or cross-functional project leadership experience advantageous
- Able to manage and deliver complex projects including understanding of transformation methodologies, change management practices, and project management principles and operational excellence.
Soft and Technical skills:
- Must possess strong leadership, management and teamwork qualities
- Experience in business and regulated sectors (e.g. Experience 510 (K) related projects preferred)
- Understanding of various functions and steps related to innovation processes
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels within the company and with external customers and vendors.
- Recognized as experienced and professional project manager by peers
Education:
- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline: e.g. Medical Degree, PhD, PharmD preferred
