Summary

DLA Piper is seeking a mid-level commercial litigation associate to join our Litigation group, Business and Commercial subgroup. This position is open to our Miami office.

Desired Skills

Strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, good business judgment, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, good judgement, leadership, research and problem-solving skills. Conceptual thinking, ability to influence others, persuasive communication and management skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Education

• JD
  

Bar Admission

• Florida admission is required. New York admission is a plus.
  

Experience

• JD years 2020 to 2023 with strong litigation experience across a variety of practices.
  
• Law firm experience is required.
  
• Federal court clerkship is a plus.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
