Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Occupational Health Specialist. This full-time, remote assignment is 5 days per week and is anticipated to last 12 months and could be extended.
As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will be working along with our Top 5 Global Technology Firm client's existing team of environment, health and safety professionals. Your role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive occupational health program to support employee well-being and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This role requires the ability to work both independently and with close collaboration among cross-functional global teams, external vendors, and regional stakeholders to develop effective worker health programs, case management, and drive process improvements across our client organization.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Eastern Time Zone and must be flexible in collaborating with multinational teams across the APAC and EMEA region. Up to 30% travel may be required.
Essential Functions may include but are not limited to:
- Developing, implementing, and supporting occupational health programs and case management operations aligned with organizational goals and regional regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring programs address employee health needs, including ergonomics, psychosocial, and workplace safety.
- Developing and overseeing the work-related injuries and illnesses case management process, including developing SOPs and being the liaison for case management escalations.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external OH vendors to ensure effective case resolution.
- Conducting psychosocial and ergonomic risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks to worker's wellbeing and health.
- Manage stakeholders and serve as the regional point of contact (POC) and escalation point for psychosocial, ergonomic, and health-related risks.
- Providing guidance and updates to leadership and stakeholders on regulatory changes.
- Supporting organizational readiness for communicable illnesses, pandemics, and other public health threats.
- Creating and implementing health promotion initiatives tailored to employee needs.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize and simplify occupational health processes.
- Developing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supporting global OH initiatives and ensuring their regional implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health, Public Health, Health and Safety, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in managing occupational health programs in corporate or industrial settings.
- Experience working in the technology industry and environment is a plus.
- CIH certification is required
- Fluent in Google productivity tools: gMail, gCal, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, Chat, Meet/Hangouts.
- Adept at working and communicating virtually.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments and handling ambiguity.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in health emergency preparedness, including communicable illness response.
- Proven ability to develop programs, manage projects, and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Deep understanding of workplace health risks and mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage health-related projects.
- Ability to analyze health data and translate insights into actionable outcomes.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.
- Adept at addressing complex health issues with innovative solutions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety-sensitive roles). They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe hourly salary range for this position is $67.00-$100.00. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
