The PMO Lead manages service delivery across the team to ensure successful execution and coordination of short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks. The Operations Support Manager will be responsible for analyzing performance against set objectives and budgets for projects, as well as ensuring work is completed on schedule and to the client's satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for leading and maturing the PMO, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. This role involves ensuring that both Risk Cyber and Tech Cyber adheres to standards and best practices, delivering program excellence for our clients.
The preferred candidate for this position should be located in the DC Metropolitan area.
What You Will Do:
- Manage service delivery across the team to ensure successful execution and coordination of short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks.
- Responsible for preparation of materials, scheduling, supporting inter-departmental projects and interactions.
- Follows up with project team and clients to ensure work is completed on schedule and to client's satisfaction.
- Identifies existing or potential problem areas within the area of operations and implements corrective action.
- Analyzes project performance against set objectives and budget for projects and reports to senior leadership.
- Engage with cross functional teams to support resource planning, collaborating with the operations team on enhancing execution of projects, suggesting ways to improve operational support activities, and responding with proposed solutions.
- Develop relationships with existing internal customers and key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance collaboration amongst the team.
- Generate operational excellence through anticipation of stakeholders needs and execute accordingly.
- Serves as a mentor and coach to senior operations support professionals, actively honing operational support skills in others and development of customer intimacy with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Need: Education and Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience including leading and developing high-performing teams in a matrixed environment. Experience managing Cybersecurity projects is a plus. Experience managing a PMO is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or project management or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Must be located in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

- Advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Adept at communication, negotiation, and people skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in project methodologies, tools (Jira, MS Project, PowerBi), and best practices
- Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System
- Experience managing Cybersecurity projects is a plus.
- Experience managing diverse types of contracts.
Reporting Relationships: Reports directly to Senior Program Manager, Cybersecurity. May or may not have direct reports.
Salary Range: $95,000-130,000
