Schedule: Start and end times will vary for this position. Shifts begin as early as 7:30 am and end as late as 5:30 pm. Worked shift will be 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Travel is required to our satellite clinics at Westbrook once or twice per week on a rotation with other team members.
Job Summary:
The ophthalmic photographer assists the ophthalmologists in the performance of eye examinations by using a variety of photographic equipment. The photographer duties include anterior and posterior segment clinical ophthalmic imaging, research participation, preparing patients for imaging, and troubleshooting equipment problems. Testing includes but is not limited to OCT, fundus photography, fluorescein and ICG angiography, slit lamp biomicroscopy, and ultrasonography. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
LICENSURE:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience with reporting and analytics preferred. Demonstrates an understanding of DEA regulations and controlled substance ordering requirements.
