Description:

Our client in York, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time on site Allergy and Immunology Physician. This position offers competitive pay dependent on experience.

As the physician, you will be responsible for managing patient health problems related to allergies, asthma, and immunology. You will work independently and collaboratively with nursing staff to perform history and physical exams for new and established patients. You will prescribe appropriate medications and order diagnostic/laboratory tests in accordance with the patient's needs. You will develop care plans and implement treatment plans based on clinical decisions.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering and supervising allergy immunotherapy, treatment of adverse reactions to immunotherapy/immunizations, drug challenges, drug desensitization, food challenges, and cluster and rush immunotherapy. You will oversee pulmonary function testing, epicutaneous and intradermal skin testing, and immunization administration.

The ideal candidate is a Board Eligible / Board Certified Physician in Allergy/Immunology with a Doctor of Medicine from an accredited school. Strong computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. 1-2 years of primary care and/or clinical experience is preferred.
