Plant Controller

Location: Clarksville, TN
Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Plant Controller to be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the plant and work with Site Leadership on financial systems. Candidate with several years of Accounting Manager / Controller or Management of FP&A experience in Manufacturing are preferred. This position reports to the Global Corporate Controller

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Complete timely, informative and accurate monthly accounts reporting on the performance of the plant
  
• Monitor key performance indicators
  
• Ensure corporate budgeting process are carried out and reviewed
  
• Provide an updated financial outlook based on current business trends and economic conditions
  
• Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning to identify key drivers impacting financial performance
  
• Manage net working capital (inventories)
  
• Cost accounting
  
• Cost savings/ monitoring yield support projects to enhance productivity
  
• Monitor conversion costs
  
• Identifying any challenges and opportunities to improve profitability & reporting these to the Plant Manager and Sales Manager
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
  
• Understanding of current accounting trends & GAAP
  
• Experience with Microsoft Office: especially Excel is a must
  
• Knowledge with SAP and reporting tool (Sigma reporting)
  
• 3-5 years or more of Accounting / Finance Experience - Preferably in Manufacturing
