Description:
The Department of Mathematics at Tulane University invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar to work in the research group of Prof. Tommaso Buvoli (https://tommasobuvoli.com/). Research topics include scientific computing, numerical analysis, time integration, and scientific machine learning. The postdoc will also teach up to one mathematics course per year.
The appointment is for two years pending postive annual reviews, with the possibility of an extension for a third year.
The position could start as early as July 1, 2024, but later start dates are also possible.
PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
