Position Summary:

The Presidential Search Committee of Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida) invites applications, expressions of interest, and nominations for the College's 16th president. Rollins seeks a president who is a champion of the liberal arts and who will bring seasoned, strategic, and innovative leadership to the College at a moment of palpable momentum. The current Rollins is characterized by a student-centered community, rigorous academics, financial strength, notable growth in an already healthy enrollment picture, exceptional faculty and staff, and a dedicated and supportive board of trustees.

Rollins is one of the best and most distinctive independent, comprehensive liberal arts colleges in the country. U.S. News & World Report has consistently ranked Rollins among the top two regional universities in the South. Founded in 1885, Rollins was Florida's first college. Set in the residential community of Winter Park, and just minutes from the city of Orlando, the 80-acre lakefront campus is often described as one of the most beautiful in America.

A member of the prestigious Associated Colleges of the South and the Annapolis Group, Rollins offers rigorous applied learning of the highest quality. Rollins is distinguished by its award-winning faculty, small class sizes, international field experiences, and nationally recognized community-based learning programs. In addition to full-time undergraduate programs in the College of Liberal Arts (CLA), Rollins maintains undergraduate and graduate degree programs for working adults through its evening program at the Hamilton Holt School and graduate business degree programs through its Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business. In the fall of 2023, Rollins' total enrollment was 3,013, consisting of 2,297 in CLA; 208 in Crummer; 273 in Holt undergraduate; and 235 in Holt graduate. Rollins offers a robust array of co-curricular organizations and programs, including 21 varsity athletic teams. It is a member of NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference (SSC).

The president is the chief executive officer of Rollins College and reports to the board of trustees. In partnership with a talented, seasoned, and collaborative cabinet team, the president has overall strategic, financial, and operational responsibility for Rollins. The president serves and leads all members of the campus and is an ambassador for Rollins to local, national, and global communities.

The leadership agenda for the College's next president as well as the most desired skill sets, experiences, and personal attributes may be found in the full Presidential Prospectus available here: Rollins Presidential Prospectus.
